Why do I need a chemical bund?

Chemical spill bunds are large trays designed to house chemical containers such as drums and storage tanks. They are used as a form of spill control in settings where hazardous liquids and aggressive chemicals are stored, and will protect individuals and the surrounding environment from contamination in the event of a leak.
In many environments, the use of a chemical bund tray as part of a secondary containment system is a legal requirement, especially where oil storage equipment exceeds 200 litres. A bund should also be able to hold 110% of the volume of the storage system that sits inside it, or 25% of the total volume if it holds multiple containers.
